Bear, a Chicago police dog, has gone AWOL from his handler's South Side home for the second time in two months, police confirmed this morning.
The 2½-year-old male German shepherd went missing from the backyard of my home after midnight early Saturday morning, said "Bear's" handler Police Officer Laura Kubiak. Who went on to say "I think Bear is out there working on cases, I believe he likes to work alone. Whenever we worked a case together I got the feeling that he didn't want me there. I think Bear thought I was hampering his investigation. He's a real aggressive Police dog and enjoys working alone or as we say 99."
